How We Restore a Polished Floor

Restoration is not the same as a new polish, because we are working with an existing finished surface, not raw concrete. First we assess how deep the wear and damage go. Light dulling might need only a re-polish from a mid-range grit; heavy wear, etching, or scratches call for a deeper cut to get below the damage before rebuilding the gloss. We repair cracks and spalls, then re-densify: the original lithium silicate treatment loses effectiveness at the worn surface, so a fresh densifier re-hardens the top of the slab and restores stain resistance. From there we run the graduated polish back up to the sheen the space needs and finish with a new penetrating guard coat.
